In this role, you'll own ML research projects from conception to publication, advancing AI safety through robustness, honesty, and transparency.
Design and conduct large-scale experiments on language models, training and fine-tuning transformers.
Build and maintain datasets, benchmarks, and research infrastructure for distributed training and evaluation.
Write and publish research findings in collaboration with co-authors and external partners.
Drive research autonomously while incorporating feedback from advisors and collaborators.
The Center for AI Safety is a nonprofit conducting technical research and field building for high-consequence risks from AI. This includes providing compute for machine learning safety researchers, and running fellowships and courses.
